I'M WITH THE WRONG MAN
We chase after a superficial love (man) that has no intention of us catching up with it, while a supernatural love (Jesus) is standing still waiting to embrace us.
We pour out ourselves for him (man) who will suck us dry, when He (Jesus) has already poured out himself for us, so our cups will never run dry.
We sell our values, dreams and bodies to the lowest bidder (man) when He (Jesus) has paid the highest price for our lives.
We hunger to settle down with him (man) that doesn't want to be tied down, when a Man (Jesus) has already went down and doesn't mind being tied to us for eternity.
We bend over backwards for him (man) in search for the straight path, when He (Jesus) commanded the woman with a bent over back to straighten up and go forward. Luke 13:10
We can stay in a broken relationship with him (man) for years but can't stay in a committed relationship with Christ for one day.
We talk about purpose, design and God's will but will you let God's purpose be the design for your life?
We can trust him (man) to take us ten blocks to our destination but can't trust the Captain of Host (Jesus) to drive us into our destiny.
We cry all night for him (man) to come through those doors, when The Door (Jesus) is knocking all night to come in and dry our eyes.
He (man) can use a rose and beg you to forget his lies, but the Rose of Sharon (Jesus) wants you to remember that he is not a man, that he should lie.
